These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Studio Kanonik website (studiokanonik.com) and any services we provide. By accessing this site or engaging Studio Kanonik for design services, you agree to these terms.
Studio Kanonik is a boutique visual design studio based in Santa Monica, California, specializing in brand identity and marketing design for the games and entertainment industries.
All design services are scoped and agreed upon in writing prior to the start of any project. Deliverables, timelines, and fees are defined in a project proposal or contract issued by Studio Kanonik.
Work outside the agreed scope — including additional rounds of revisions, new directions, or expanded deliverables — will be quoted separately and require written approval before proceeding.
Studio Kanonik reserves the right to decline projects at its discretion.
Upon receipt of final payment, the client receives full ownership of the agreed final deliverables as outlined in the project contract.

Any third-party assets (fonts, stock imagery, licensed elements) used in deliverables are subject to their respective licenses. It is the client's responsibility to ensure ongoing compliance.
Projects require a deposit before work begins, as specified in the project proposal. The remaining balance is due upon delivery of final files or as outlined in the agreed payment schedule.
Invoices are due within 14 days of issue unless otherwise agreed. Late payments are subject to a 1.5% monthly service charge.
All fees are in USD. Studio Kanonik reserves the right to pause work on any project with an outstanding invoice past its due date.
Each project proposal specifies the number of revision rounds included. Revisions are defined as refinements within an approved direction — not new concepts or significant changes in scope.
Revision requests must be submitted in a single consolidated round. Feedback provided incrementally or after a round has been addressed may be treated as a new revision round.
Studio Kanonik treats all client information shared during the course of a project as confidential. We will not disclose proprietary business information, unreleased products, or sensitive materials to third parties without written consent.
Clients are asked to extend the same respect to our proprietary processes, pricing structures, and unpublished work.
Studio Kanonik is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of delivered work, delays outside our control, or decisions made by the client based on our creative recommendations.
Our total liability in connection with any project shall not exceed the fees paid by the client for that specific engagement.
All content on studiokanonik.com — including copy, imagery, design, and code — is the property of Studio Kanonik and may not be reproduced, redistributed, or used without explicit written permission.
This site is provided for informational purposes. We make no warranties regarding the accuracy or completeness of the content and reserve the right to update or remove content at any time.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes arising from these terms or from a project engagement will be resolved in the courts of Los Angeles County, California.
